Magnifico's big comeback with new album Alpe Adria Club
Magnifico has just released his highly anticipated tenth studio album, Alpe Adria Club, the first one in almost a decade since he delighted his fans with the album Charlatan de Balkan. The album Alpe Adria Club, which was announced in the spring with the single and video Korak po korak (Step by Step), and recently with the second single Hišica (Little House), includes ten songs that offer a stylistically sophisticated and content-rich musical experience, intertwined with Magnifico's recognizable lyrical note.

But since Magnifico is the undisputed authority on stage flirtation with the audience, it is of course even better if you experience his musical novelties at one of the upcoming concerts of the Alpe Adria Tour, which will culminate in Ljubljana's Stožice arena with his Christmas concert Alpe Adria Show that you simply cannot miss.
In terms of content, the new album is a logical continuation of Magnifico's previous musical releases, or as the author himself puts it:
"If the album Export/Import was my musical commentary on Slovenia's entry into the EU; and if the album Grande Finale radiated a premonition of the coming turbulent times; and if Charlatan de Balkan was my musical revelation of the rampant and ubiquitous charlatanism; then the album Alpe Adria Club is a logical continuation of this creative streak, as it represents a commentary on the rise of ruthless nationalism in our immediate surroundings.
In response to it, I took refuge in an imaginary, utopian, love-filled and romantic world of the paradise region of Alpe Adria, which is a cross-section of Romanesque, Slavic and Germanic cultural traditions."
So what does Magnifico's first studio album in almost a decade offer? First and foremost, an extremely imaginative and creative mix of musical influences that he has played with throughout his more than 30-year musical career, but this time he has intertwined them in a very special way. "Alpe Adria Club is a musical product in which, just like in the region of the same name, Italian canzone, Alpine melody and Balkan temperament are mixed together."
In doing so, Magnifico remains true to himself and his poetic lyrics. His goal is not to please at all costs, but to offer the listener a sincere and unadorned musical experience:
"Alpe Adria is considered an eco-bio region and the same applies in musical terms to my new record: you will not find any flavor enhancers, preservatives or added sugars on it. No, it is made directly from the heart and served to the audience in an unrefined but precisely crafted form. With it, we have created a pleasant frequency that has a beneficial effect on the mind and the body."
In creating the Alpe Adria Club album, Magnifico collaborated with a proven and long-term team of his musical companions: Aleksander Pešut – Schatz! (drums and production), Jan Gregorka (bass), Luka Ipavec (trumpet), Jan Jarni (guitar), Matija Krečič (violin) and Matej Kužel (saxophone).
The promotion of the new album will culminate with the Alpe Adria Show in the Stožice Arena in Ljubljana on Christmas. The spectacle will feature more than 30 musicians and soloists on the Stožice stage and is definitely not to be missed. Tickets are already available on the Eventim website.
